[A transmission starts in the form of someone writing on a notepad. Though they seem to be unaware of the fact that what they are writing can be seen.]

Patient seems to show signs of post-traumatic stress disorder despite no...[Suddenly the writing abruptly stops as though the writer has realized something. A couple of hours later another entry starts though this was one is typed as they have moved to a computer.]

Well this is a rather surprising development. I would ask if this is some sort of joke, but having looked over a couple of the other entries, it is fairly clear that it is not. I hope you will excuse me if I chose not to identify myself at this time. I have no interest in ‘outing’ myself, so to speak. Especially when I get the impression that doing so might be a dangerous thing. There seems to be quite a bit of information on this...network as it were. Would someone mind pointing me in the direction of the more relevant information?

[Otherwise someone is going to start thinking he is going crazy. Not so long ago everything was normal as normal as they can be after an earthquake, but then he just had to write those numbers down on his notepad. Perhaps this is all a bad dream.]

I'm afraid that attempting to read through the most recent entries is a tad on the confusing side, when you have not the context for most of the conversations taking place. I thank you in advance.

i have been told that even with prior knowledge many of the things posted here are still difficult for people to comprehend. at least you will not be alone in this?

I suppose that makes some sense. Though the jury is still out on whether or not it is a comfort.

why so? is it not good to have companions to muddle through difficulties with?

In general, yes. But these aren't exactly normal hardships that anyone can face.

true. but from what i have been told, we are not normal people either. :)

So I am gathering, though I don't know if I can fully accept that we aren't just yet.

i have made friends with a cat! one which talks, i mean. so i am relatively convinced that there is something very fantastical occurring here. :D

...A talking cat? That's not exactly my idea of fantastical.

[And he was sure someone mentioned a pony too. He almost wants to laugh at just insane all of this sounds.]

no? it seems quite amazing to me!

but then, i am from eastern europe. perhaps some of the jokes about us needing to catch up are true. i have certainly never held a conversation with a cat before! :)

I have never held a conversation with a cat before either, but not everyone reacts the same under strange happenstances.

i suppose that is true. it also likely helps that i have been trained for politeness in even the strangest of circumstances, haha. :) it is very helpful to have something to fall back on.

I am not sure how that helps, but suppose anything is possible.

[He's not necessarily a pessimist, but things are just feeling on the bleak side to him.]

it is surprisingly very helpful, i have found! also finding things in common makes wading through the more difficult bits seem less insurmountable. :D

I shall keep that in mind. I just need a little time to adjust to all of this.

that is understandable. it is quite a lot to understand at once, especially when they hand you the manual! i am lucky that i have finals to keep me somewhat distracted. :))

[A momentary change of subject is a distraction he could use. Though he completely understands if she doesn't wish to say.]

Ah I see. Then all this talk of aliens must be especially intriguing to you.

it is very interesting, yes! especially since many of the abilities people have told me their have remembered or regained should not be functional, especially in the reaches of space.

i wish there was some way for me to investigate it more thoroughly, to be perfectly honest.

So there are people who remember using their abilities while in space?

at least one, yes! and perhaps more if you count the person who informed me his other self was an alien lifeform with a drastically different biological form.

...Did he tell you in what way his other self was different by chance?

[chernobolt]

oh no, he simply showed me. it was much easier for both of us. :)

So he has changed enough for others to see or he was able to share a memory?

[chernobolt]

the first in a sense, i believe! it was a change he could control, or at least he spoke of it that way. i did not think it was polite to pry into such matters.

[and she was too busy getting excited over an actual alien and how cool he was...]
