[Asuka's usual posting background - her nice, private, albeit small dorm room - is absent. Instead, she seems to have found a quiet spot outside, judging from the heavy coat, people milling around in the distant background, and annoyed expression.]

Okay.

[Honestly, the expression is a fair bit beyond annoyed, but Asuka is making use of every bit of willpower she has not to start screaming in public.]

I want to know which one of you broke something this time. I'm not going to get mad, or violent, or anything. I just want to know who decided that a natural disaster on the level of damaging buildings was a good idea during dead week while it's forty degrees outside and I and about a hundred other people had to sleep in a gym.

[She closes her eyes, and takes a deep breath, letting it out slowly and trying to get some perspective. The news had said people had died.]

No one had anything fall on them, did they? I just had all my windows broken, really...

No way in hell did we get an earthquake this destructive on the east coast without someone doing something weird. It seems in-line with the sort of crap people on this Network can do, even if we haven't proven anyone's done something this big before.

I'm sure that 'bombing' in the Dead District was either us or the bad guys, too, to answer your other question. There were monsters roaming around in there the day before, and what normal terrorist would blow up a bunch of empty warehouses?

That sounds pretty likely. They have the money, the resources, and the motivation?

Well they're behind everything else that's happened so far and if nothing else they're probably making a profit off the cleanup. If you see Thunder-branded construction workers repairing this crap, it was definitely them.

So it's like that one cop guy from Cri***al Minds who would totally shoot people just to "save" them and be a hero because why not.

I think it's more likely that they're being controlled by the "aliens" or whatever we're fighting, but if they can make some money on construction jobs on the side, why not?

What're the chances that they are the aliens, taking on human appearances?

At this point I give it about 50/50.
