Who: Reimu and whoever feels like stopping by the Shrine
What: Reimu working (and slacking off) at the Shrine. Also, possibly screwing around with new powers behind the shrine when no one's around doing other things.
Where: The Shinto Shrine near the park in Japan Town
When: Any time between The 22 to the 26th of November
[While the network has been pretty busy the last few weeks, things have been quiet for Reimu. On the one hand calm and quiet are things she's starting to appreciate more, the more time she spends in Locke City. On the other hand, it gets kinda boring some times. She still does her chores around the shrine of course, though she also takes way more breaks than she should be taking. When she's not on duty, she's mostly walking around the park or playing video games.
Speaking of quiet, it actually not as quiet as the shrine maiden would have liked, thanks to that stupid buzzing noise. Even after finding out what was causing it from Danny, she'd still felt compelled to go check out the Towers herself. Not that she'd actually been able to get very close with the police still patrolling around. Ultimately, the adventure had been completely pointless, and Reimu had gone back to deciding not to care.
There was one thing she got out of it though. While she still wasn't sure she liked getting strange new powers from who knows where, being able to fly as her other self had in the visions was kind of neat, and with the monsters and things around the other new powers might also prove useful at some point. She had been testing these things out a little bit at the back of the shrine when no one else was around, though there was a limit to how much she could do there (she couldn't really fly very high for one thing). Only a little bit of experimenting though. She didn't bother to practice or anything.]
((Alright, so, she actually went to the Tuning Towers on Sunday, so the part about her new powers only potentially comes up after that. Anyone who wants to hang out can. She'll either be slacking off on the steps of the shrine again (whether or not she's supposed to be on duty) or sweeping the shrine grounds, or doing some other chore while on duty. Just be sure to specify when the thread is taking place.))

"Hiiiiiiya Reimu!" She shouted, waving. Then she took a moment to look around the shrine curiously. She had never been here before, after all.

She turned to glance at the girl, a little surprised for a moment to see Marisa standing there. There was... something weirdly familiar about this scene. "Marisa? What brings you here?" Though thinking about it, she thought she had a guess, considering their last conversation on the Network.
Also, something about this felt weirdly... natural somehow.

"Putting your money where your mouth is. You got a computer around here?"

"Of course I do. Just hold on a second. My shift's about to end anyway."
Once done she started back towards the shrine to go put the broom away. "Alright, follow me."
The nice thing about working at the shrine when her family owned the place was that this shrine had been built so that the owners had their own living space, just like Reimu's grandmother's shrine did, and her relatives had chosen to use it rather than live somewhere near by. So once the broom was put away Reimu could just lead Marisa straight to her room.
She slides open the door to her room and steps in. "Here we are."
Her room is fairly normal, other than the fact that she's got a futon instead of a bed (It's a more western style futon than the one back home, but that was okay so long as it was a futon in Reimu's opinion). She keeps the place pretty neat, but there's still games all over the place and a small TV against one wall. There's also a desk with a computer, with Reimu's own usb controller still attached to it.

Eventually they got down to business, and Marisa wandered into Reimu's room looking around curiously. "So you actually live here? In the shrine?"

While Marisa looked around her room, Reimu sat down on the futon. "Yes, most Shinto Shrines have rooms for the family who owns the shrine on the grounds. Apparently it's not as common here as it is back home though."
"So if you brought a copy of that game with you, you didn't really need to, since I already have mine here." Well it's not like Marisa could've known that, so she's just stating a fact.

"Wouldn't want to miss out just because you didn't have it installed or something."
no subject
"Alright. I guess I'll let you chose who you want to play as first then, since you're the 'guest.'" She said, once it was set up, going to mess with the futon. Obviously they couldn't both sit at the desk. Since her futon was a western style futon, and the screen on her computer was of a decent size anyway, it wasn't that hard to fix that though.

Marisa's didn't have an english patch either. She had just figured out where everything was on the menus by experimentation. She chose her normal favorite: Some girl with a rolling pin who seemed fond of missiles.

Seeing that Marisa had chosen VIVIT, Reimu tch'd and decided to use Milia. She played Milia more often anyway.
"Alright, ready to start?"
no subject
"Ready."
Marisa's strategy was violently front loaded. The few times she had played this before with other humans, she had usually either won quickly, or lost dramatically after blowing all her power.

Absolutely failed to hit her opponent. She got the distinct impression that she might be in over her head here, though she didn't let it show on her face.

So, after dodging the next volley Reimu found her opening and ruthlessly took it.

"Hmph. Lucky shot."
