There seem to be quite a few things different about me physically, ever since I discovered this network a few months back, and aside from being a little irritating, most of them haven't significantly affected me to the point of not being able to function. However, I think that there is something odd going on with my eating habits. I've been hungry in an odd way since I visited the Tuning Towers and it's been going on for weeks and nothing is really helping the issue. And I think I've figured out what that is, though how I figured out involves a very uncomfortable bus ride with people who have no concept of personal space, but very tantalizing, ah... Well... Jugular veins.
Anyway, that odd statement coming from me really should make what I'm about to ask obvious, but bear with me, because I am going to ask a mildly disturbing question.
Does anyone else besides me feel a particular urge to, oh I don't know, drink blood? And along the same vein- I mean- Along the same lines, is there any way to make it stop aside from the usual thing? I've read enough literature to understand the basic idea but is there anyway to opt out? Because I'd really rather not go down that path at the moment.

Anyway, you name the time and place and I'll bring you some blood. ...I should not be sounding so cavalier about that.

[There's a brief clip of video, where Kanti waves and points to a post-it note with her phone number on it.]
Just in case.

[AND THEN IT WAS FRIDAY and Brooke is now waiting near the alleyway entrance to the morgue she works at. it's totally legitimate and not shady, and she definitely isn't keeping a bag of a decedent's blood in the fridge inside. nope, this is all 100% legal and on the up and up. she'd texted Kanti a selfie earlier in the day with instructions to meet in that alleyway. hopefully the inherently kind of creepy nature of the entire practice doesn't end up turning her away.]
Action; YEAAAAAh timeskips!
She slinks into the alley like it is all good, and she has brought with her a cup holder with two chai teas in it, because she has MANNERS. Tea for blood. That is how etiquette works, obviously.]
Brooke?
[It's a stupid question, because she did get a selfie, and who the hell else would be standing here looking exactly like Brooke? Her twin? (oh god does she have a twin is this awkward now?)]
action;
That's me. Kanti? [she looks at the teas approvingly; she wasn't expecting it, but this could be a lovely chance to get to know each other.] Sorry this had to be so shady. Here, come in. [with her good arm, she holds open the metal door that goes down into a well-lit, white stairway. The contrast between outside and inside is honestly kind of impressive.
Action;
[She stares at the entrance just slightly apprehensively before shrugging and walking through. Kanti carries herself with the confidence of someone who is unwilling to carry themselves with caution because it simply involves too much effort. The moment she's inside, she wiggles one of the travel cups out of the cupholder and holds it out to Brooke.]
Sorry if it seems a bit off to bring tea. I just figured it would be a... nice thing to do.
Action;
I've got it for you down the hall, but if you want to sit down in the break room and just talk for a while, that's okay, too. [her grin normalizes to a polite and genuine look.] It's up to you. But for what it's worth, you seem interesting.
Re: Action;
So I went with tea. But the break room sounds nice! [She preens internally at the compliment before thinking about it a little more and making subtle but confused sort of face.] Interesting how?
