That..was not in my address bar. Why did typing in some random numbers in Goggle take me to some...forum or something? That’s what this is, right?

[He’s not sure. He’s not the techy one. He’s the cute one.]

A forum? For...people who’ve found weird stones and then had a weirder hallucination...type...thing?

[He holds up one of those glass runestone type things—the rune for "th"]

I mean, I know I look like it but I swear I don’t smoke pot so...this thing had to do it. Whatever "it" was.

[Honestly, he’s not sure what it was. Funny whooshing sound, random string of numbers...yep, no clue.]

So. Um. If anyone wants to explain what’s going on that’d be...great. Please.

I'm sure others have responded by now, but do you still have any questions? Admittedly, I haven't been here as long as some others, but I think I have a decent understanding.

I think I got it all, unless you know where I can get something to drink from someone who doesn't care that I'm seventeen. I REALLY think that'd be useful right now

I haven't seen them myself, but there are some creatures a guy named Mamoru detailed a short time ago. I've heard of them attacking people before.

From smallest to largest, those creatures are called Vermini, Vermedi, and Vermaxi. They seem to target the lot of us specifically. There are also instances of strange things like lighters with legs and I think someone mentioned a giant purple scorpion once.

We're...popular with those things.

I think that's why some people are trying to learn self-defense. I've read people are even learning to use swords.

Swords? Why not, y'know, GUNS?

My guess is that there're legal issues for one thing.

And then some people are getting swords out of nowhere, just like that stone you have.
