[Unlike some, Mikasa didn't punch in her number by accident, and wasn't caught in the middle of something unrelated, and didn't take the opportunity to broadcast her surprise immediately. She laid low, sought out the FAQ, and tried to at least get a little bit over it before she actually said anything.

Still, she hasn't replied to a thing until now, so she's another face that's new to the network, though maybe not entirely new to the high school crowd. Long dark hair in a messy bun with a couple of pencils shoved through it, flopped on her stomach on the bed with her laptop sitting in front of her, and wearing an expression that looks like she's trying and not quite succeeding at taking this nice and casual.

Because man, there is nothing casual about any of this shit.]

So, um. Do you ever get anything useful out of this? Anything that's, you know. Nice to know and not totally screwed up?

Or do I just get to look forward to more surprise shankings and crap like that for...however long this goes?

You can find out that the weird stuff isn't all that weird! ...I mean, it's still weird, but it happens to other people too, so maybe it's not weird? Getting shanked doesn't sound good, though. Did that really happen?

I...well, I remembered it, but it's still kind of hard to swallow that it really happened and it wasn't just some kind of screwed up dream or something.

[Except for the part where someone else remembered it too. That complicates things a bit.]

I think everybody with this number is. Nobody seems to know what's really going on... Cause it can't be nothing, right? Something is happening.

If it's nothing then I'd have to conclude that I'm crazy and right now I'm really not sure which sounds worse.
