[Off-focus of the camera, Riku looks tired in a worn tank top with a wide collar, like he hasn't been sleeping well for days. Guess who's gotten a bucketload of bad memories and one too many swigs of tap water. He's been a bit busy right, during, and after the big photoshoot (editing work), so he's been drinking tap water for a bit. Thankfully, though he just goes on mute whenever any unmanly giggling pops up, but it's a very, very short video No promises on his ] 

I've... been having a lot of these dreams, lately. Nightmares. Things that feel real but don't make sense. There are other people, now, and... monsters. 

Somebody else here said something interesting. What are these memories-- when did they happen? Where did they happen? Is anybody remembering any of the same places or people? 

I... need to get out.  Anybody doing anything useful tonight can give me a call. 


[He rakes a hand through his hair and stands up, ending the feed.]

...In one of them, I'm standing on an island and it's getting torn apart around me. There's a man telling me I did it, and then some kind of giant shadow appears. That's all I'm sure of. The rest varies. Some of the dreams end with me getting eaten or sinking into some kind of dark swamp.

[There's a pretty lengthy pause before Kairi answers- enough time, say, for her to have gotten a Pulse and an accompanying memory and a little time after to recover from it.]

This might be a weird question, but do you remember a cave on this island?

[Riku's a bit startled at that.] There was one, yeah. With... drawings on it.

[Another pretty decent sized pause, though this time it's just trying to figure this out.]

When I read that, I got a Pulse of being in a cave like that with darkness destroying everything around me.

Maybe that's how we all got here. Wherever we were, it got destroyed. There're a lot of islands and probably a lot of caves, too. It wouldn't even have to be one. But something we all have in common made someone out there pick us out.

Maybe. [she won't mention the sense of deja vu you give her.] I might add it to that spreadsheet people started to see if there's anyone else.
