[ Writing the numbers down somewhere was all well and good. Open up an empty Word document and type them in, and voilà. John finds it's a little more difficult to actually figure out where to go from there, and once he actually manages to get it to do something, it takes him a while to notice. So the network gets a view of his concentrated frown and his tongue sticking out at the edge of his lips as he squints at the screen.
When it does hit him what he's managed to do, he suddenly jerks back with a bit of a surprised expression. Recording, huh? That... has to mean-- ]
Aha!
[ Almost like he meant to do it. Sure he did. A bit of a smile at the screen, too, and he'll be all settled.
He managed to make it do something! Looks like he can get the hang of it after all. Computers are one thing, this is another and, really, he's not so sure he likes either of them very much. ]
There we are. Wonderful.
[ British accent, go.
He settles back in his desk chair, clasps his hands together in front of his chest. ]
This is some sort of… network, then? Like one of those modern social networks? Oh, dear… Never been much for those, but, then, this isn’t quite like that either, is it?
Numbers that repeat themselves over and over until you try them out. I never would have believed in telepathy before this.
[ He’d thought over what to call it for a good while, and that’s basically what he arrived at. Telepathy. What else could it be called? ]
Well. Is there anyone who would care to tell me just what this is? I saw you're out there.
[ He clears his throat, and purses his lips. Nothing... else to say, no. So how does it end this? Or send it, or... Ah, there. ]

This is a little more than a social networking site.
[ video ]
Yes, I'm... beginning to understand that.
[ video ]
Ah, yes, forgive me. I have a terrible habit of stating the obvious.
I'm not very good at explaining things to new people, but you can ask me if you like?

I. I see.
[ Give him a moment, he can be okay with this. Totally. Yep. ]

I shouldn't have shown you...

I certainly hope not, [ he chuckles softly ] I would've had to have done something pretty terrible to get these, surely?
